I always like getting the question. “When did you know you were gay?”
For me it’s always been something I’ve known, but growing up in a rigid socially conservative household it was just a matter of actually learning the word. Gay wasn’t something that was discussed. It was hushed up and swept under the rug. A hollow grouping of letters that my mother would shield me from and ground my sibling for calling me in jest. It wasn’t until I was 13 and actually curious enough look it up that I definitively knew. That’s a sad truth but the truth nonetheless.

Pretending to be someone else is easy. It’s an act. It’s dress up. You can hide yourself.

What would your tagline be for an intro to the (Real) Housewives?
